The College of Materials, 火狐体育 火狐体育 火狐体育, Jiangxi University of Science 火狐体育 Technology was founded on the 12th March 2019. It consists of the School of Materials Science 火狐体育 Engineering, the School of Metallurgical Engineering, the School of 火狐体育 火狐体育 Chemical Engineering, 火狐体育 the Institute of Engineering Research”.

The College is renowned for its strong 火狐体育 experienced staff. There are 228 faculty members, including 31 professors 火狐体育 58 associate professors. It currently has eight undergraduate specialties in metallurgical engineering, metallic materials engineering, chemical engineering 火狐体育 technology, inorganic non-metallic materials engineering, applied chemistry, new energy science 火狐体育 engineering, materials chemistry, 火狐体育 material physics. It has the right to grant PhD degrees in metallurgical engineering, 火狐体育 the master's degree in metallurgical engineering, materials science 火狐体育 engineering, chemical engineering 火狐体育 technology. The College currently has three national-level research centres (National Copper Smelting 火狐体育 Processing Engineering Technology Research Centre, National Ion-Type Rare Earth Resources Efficient Development 火狐体育 Utilization Engineering Research Centre, National Quality Inspection Centre of Tungsten 火狐体育 Rare Earth Products).

In the past three years, the College has undertaken more than 100 National Key R&D Programs, National Program on Key Basic Research Projects (973 Program), National High-tech R&D Programs (863 Program), 火狐体育 National Natural Science Foundation Programs, more than 200 provincial 火狐体育 ministerial research projects, 火狐体育 more than 280 projects  entrusted by enterprises, costing over 100 million RMB; it has published over SCI 火狐体育 EI 450 papers, 火狐体育 more than 150 patents; 20 provincial 火狐体育 ministerial-level science 火狐体育 technology prizes have been granted.
